The EMC Ducos site, spanning 8,900 m², plays a key role in the management and processing of metal waste. It offers high-performance solutions tailored to the needs of both businesses and individuals, while ensuring strict traceability and optimal material recovery.
Metal waste is purchased based on its weight and quality. The site is equipped with two specialized shredding lines: one for scrap metal (SHREDDED 210/211) and one for tire shredding.
The Ducos site features modern equipment to ensure efficient waste processing:
Certified weighbridge, periodically inspected for precise weighing
Fleet of hydraulic excavators, mini-loaders, and specialized equipment (grabs, clamps, shears) for metal handling
2 depollution stations for End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs)
1 scrap metal shredding line and 1 used tire shredding line to produce high-quality finished products
Baling press, alligator shear, blowtorches, and power tools for cutting and dismantling ferrous and non-ferrous metals
Tractor, semi-trailer, and flatbed for transporting metals, finished products, and heavy equipment
A team of about thirty employees is dedicated to these operations, each with specialized technical skills for every step of the treatment process.

The EMC Doniambo site, covering an area of 15,000 m², plays a key role in the processing of ferrous metals in New Caledonia. It provides solutions tailored to the needs of large companies, with optimized storage and export capacity to ensure high-quality material recovery. This site is primarily dedicated to SLN subcontractors and the reception of large scrap metal, allowing for efficient management of metal waste.
Ferrous metal waste is purchased based on weight, and the finished products include materials such as PNS, ready for export. The site features a dedicated storage area for finished ferrous products awaiting shipment to international markets.
The Doniambo site is equipped with modern tools to ensure optimal material processing:
Certified weighbridge, periodically inspected to ensure precise weighing
Fleet of hydraulic excavators, mini-loaders, and specialized equipment (grabs, clamps, shears) for metal handling
Shear press for cutting scrap metal
Tractor, semi-trailer, and flatbed for transporting metals, finished products, and equipment
Blowtorches for cutting operations
Forklifts and Manitou for managing the storage and movement of metals and finished products
A team of about fifteen employees on-site brings their expertise to ferrous metal management, ensuring efficient processing in line with safety and quality standards.
Our in-house maintenance department
EMC’s maintenance department maintains, repairs and monitors all our equipment and machinery. With a team of 10 people, this department is responsible for the maintenance of over 150 different machines, ranging from hydraulic shovels and mini-loaders to skips, bins, weighbridges, depollution stations and shredding lines.
To guarantee optimum management and maximum efficiency, we use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, which enables us to track the maintenance requirements of each piece of equipment in real time, plan interventions and manage spare parts stocks.
