Our partners

EMC maintains strong partnerships, notably with local associations dedicated to promoting the recycling of specific waste such as aluminium cans, and to developing educational activities focused on environmental protection for young audiences. We also have privileged partnerships with the following stakeholders:

Elayine Drehu

Created in 2009 through a partnership between local company JP Transport and EMC, Elayine Drehu specializes in the collection and management of hazardous waste, such as WEEE, oils, batteries and other industrial waste. This waste, from Lifou households and industries, is then conditioned on the Elayine platform and shipped to EMC.

Traivaldec

In 2011, EMC joined forces with PropNord to create Traivaldec, a local entity dedicated to the collection, sorting and treatment of waste in the Northern Province. This partnership highlights our shared expertise and commitment to reducing environmental impact, by guaranteeing efficient waste recycling.

ETV

Established in 2010, ETV specializes in two major areas of activity: the recycling of aluminum scrap and the collection, sorting and export of used lead batteries. ETV is the only aluminum smelter in New Caledonia.
